Transferred candidate
This is where a candidate transfers from one registered centre to another JCQ-registered centre after the submission of examination entries. The candidate’s entry remains with the school or college that entered them, and the candidate remains their responsibility. The candidate retains their original candidate number and unique candidate identifier (UCI) throughout the examination series.
If you want the results to be sent to the host centre, the entering centre will need to withdraw the entry so the new centre can submit a new entry.
Only timetabled exams can be transferred; non-examined components such as non-exam assessment, controlled assessments, coursework and practical assessments are excluded from these arrangements. We charge an administrative fee for the transfer of each candidate.
For more information, please see JCQ Link here
Mock test
Sitting mock exams are the ideal way to practice your exam technique. They give you the opportunity to experience working under timed conditions. It is important to practice performing in an exam setting as being able to thrive in this environment, will help your performance when your real exams start. They also enable you to review your progress and address any gaps in knowledge, making it easier to plan your revision.
A mock examination involves completing an up-to-date past paper, often a restricted paper only available in-centre, under full examination conditions at our exam centre. Following completion of the mock examination, the paper is professionally marked and students receive an overall grade/mark.
For more information, please see the page here.
Mock exams to provide predicted grades for UCAS applications.
We understand that many universities require predicted grades as part of their admissions procedure. If you need to provide predicted grades we can help. We can provide predicted grades based on your mock exam performance and our professional judgement. For integrity all mock exams for the purpose of predicted grades must be completed under full examination conditions at our centre.
The predicted grades can be included in your UCAS application by your referee, or we can send them directly to your prospective universities.
For more information, please see the page here.
