Our mission

To be the leader in providing quality education to students who want a better life.

London Professional Training College is a relatively new college, but we are aiming high when it comes to what we want for our students, and how we can deliver it to them.

Our mission captures this spirit.

We don’t want to be just another college, but the recognised leader when it comes to helping students better their careers, and therefore their lives. By focusing on the highest standards of education, available to students of all backgrounds and circumstances, we know we can make a real difference in the lives of everyone who chooses to learn with us.

Inspiring and supporting students

We promise each of our students a personal and inspiring experience with us.

It’s personal because we take the time to get to know each student and how they learn best. So whoever you are, you will feel at home at LPTC, sharing time with lecturers and other students who are all working towards the same things.

You’ll enjoy a range of learning, from face-to-face in small groups to online learning. Our goal is to provide the right environment for you to reach your goals.

We’re a modern college which has invested in technology, so our learning environment keeps pace with what’s happening in today’s business world. Our courses are designed to give you confidence and skills with technology – we even have a Virtual Reality suite to help you experience real-world situations.

A warm welcome

And beyond learning, we encourage all of our students to simply spend time with us and each other at the college. It’s a comfortable and welcoming place to study, or simply to relax, chat and get to know other students. With plenty of international students as well as those from the UK, there’s always somebody interesting to talk to.

We also offer a range of support to students to help them study, from financial support to loaning equipment, including laptops.

A message from our Principal

We pride ourselves on being an inclusive and especially friendly and supportive learning environment, based on our many years of experience in higher education. We accept students from our local community as well as from all over the UK and indeed internationally. We are passionate about not only successfully achieving qualifications, but also, providing skills and opportunities for employment. This has become even more important in these challenging times.

What makes LPTC so special? The wonderful atmosphere, really personalised approach and quality teaching and guidance.

LPTC currently provides the BA (Hons) in Business Management with Foundation Year, in partnership with St. Mary’s University, Twickenham. We are especially proud of this partnership with a university which shares our ethos of making a degree qualification more accessible and with this we offer flexible timetables that especially have mature students and those with carer responsibilities in mind.

LPTC provides a progressive learning environment, and we continue to expand our programmes and qualifications. We have been a successful GCSE and A Level exam centre for a number of years, as well as offering English language classes, and short professional courses. Additionally, we have fast track, affordable degree qualifications from Levels 3 to 7 with a number of UK recognised accreditors including OTHM, Qualifi, OCN and Access to HE. Looking to the future, we need to keep developing our online delivery as well as embed new technologies as we look ahead to meet the needs of business and career opportunities.

I look forward to welcoming you to LPTC.
